POST-PRODUCTION GRANT PROGRAM 2025
The Ukrainian Film Academy, in cooperation with Netflix, is launching a new round of the Post-Production Grant Program to support Ukrainian filmmakers both in Ukraine and worldwide who have been affected or displaced by the war, enabling them to continue and develop their work.
Twenty (20) selected projects will each receive a grant of $15,000 for post-production services of original Ukrainian feature-length fiction and documentary films (50 minutes or longer) that are at the production or post-production stage at the time of application.

GRANT PROGRAM 2024: script development and exclusive sessions with EAVE experts
The Ukrainian Film Academy, in cooperation with Netflix, announced the launch of the “Grant Program: Script Development and Exclusive Online Sessions with EAVE Experts”, which aims to support Ukrainian creators in Ukraine and around the world who have been affected or displaced by the war in continuing and developing their work.
Twenty original feature-length fiction film projects at the development stage will each receive $10,000 to develop their scripts. At the end of the Program, the Ukrainian Film Academy translated all scripts into English.
Additionally, a series of exclusive online sessions with EAVE experts was held specifically for the Grant Recipients. The sessions covered key industry trends and individual sessions with EAVE on script development and project growth, which explored strategies for funding and marketing.
POST-PRODUCTION GRANT PROGRAM
In 2023, the Ukrainian Film Academy, in collaboration with Netflix, announced the launch of a Post-Production Grant Program aimed at assisting Ukrainian creators in Ukraine and around the world who have been affected or displaced by the war, to continue and develop their work.
As a result, 10 projects were selected to receive a post-production grant of $10,000 each.
GRANT PROGRAM: Script Development and Exclusive Sessions with Industry Experts
In 2022 the Ukrainian Film Academy, in cooperation with Netflix, announced a “Grant Program: script development and exclusive sessions with industry experts” to help Ukrainian creators in Ukraine and around the world who have been affected or displaced by the war to continue and develop their work.
Thanks to the collaboration with Netflix over the past two years, and in partnership with the Ukrainian Film Academy, House of Europe, and European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), 200 creative professionals have received stipends, over 500 have gained access to online learning, and 48 creative teams of two have received grants for script development and online sessions with international industry experts, plus 1:1 script doctoring and project development sessions.
